Note on YMCA Championship Meets:
States
March 7 9, 2008
o
The meet will
be held at Franklin and Marshall college in Lancaster, PA, hosted by SVY.
This facility is exceptional and we expect that the meet will be a great
one.
o
The meet will
be scheduled in a full 3-day format. Prelims and Finals in the AM and Eve
respectively for 13/over. Timed finals for 12/under in the PM.
o
Maximum number
of individual events is 7, no more than 3 per day. Unlimited number of
relays can be entered, but only one can score. No relay-only swimmers.
o
There are A
and B qualifying times. If a swimmer makes an A cut then they are
qualified to swim in the meet for that event(s). If they have other events
that make the B cut, they can swim any or all of those too, providing that
the 550 swimmer per session limit is not met. B cut swimmers will be taken
fastest to slowest until that quota is filled.
o
If a swimmer
has 4 or more A State cuts, then s/he cannot swim at Silvers.

The meet will
be held at GCIT, hosted by SHY.
o
The meet will
be scheduled in a 2 ½ day format like last years meet, timed finals.
13/over in the AM, 12/u in the PM.
o
Maximum number
of individual events is 7, no more than 3 per day. Unlimited number of
relays can be entered, but only one can score. No relay-only swimmers.
o
A swimmer can
qualify for States at this meet

be held at Ocean County Y, hosted by OCY.

The meet will
be scheduled on one day, two sessions. Boys in the AM; Girls in the PM.
o
Maximum number
of individual events is 4. Unlimited number of relays can be entered, but
only one can score.
